When we raised enough money to print 1500 copies of “My Friend is a Superhero” through our PledgeMe campaign, we received an incredible amount of generous feedback.

At the beginning of March Diversityworks Trust started a PledgeMe campaign to raise $3500 to print 1000 copies of My Friend Is A Superhero. Duffy Books in Homes agreed to distribute 500 of these to lower-decile schools throughout New Zealand.

You know how kids stare at people in wheelchairs and aren’t sure what to say? Well, we want to change that. We want kids to run up to people in wheelchairs and say, “Wow! You must be a superhero!”
